While in Queenstown, it seemed like a good idea to take Zee up to one of the ski fields even though it was mid summer. It's a nice drive, and the views from Coronet are pretty amazing. However, once up there, I realised that actually, this is the second ski field I've taken him to that has had no snow. Considering I recently taught him to snowboard in France a few months ago, it seemed especially cruel this time. I had to promise to the next ski field we went to would have snow!
Still, the views! The views. New Zealand just seems so empty, with no one but us enjoying all of these glorious vistas.
