Disneyland Paris

Disneyland seemed like a delightful place to spend a weekend celebrating my first birthday. Loved it! It was exactly like you'd expect. Except that everything was in French, including Disney characters which meant they had voices that were unfamiliar. Still, the French was novel, and I happily added to 'Merci, au revoir' to the end of all my interactions.

I ate too much, and did lots of wandering and bought a silly amount of Disney themed socks. The rides were novel. Turns out Space Mountain is not a water ride, the Buzz Lightyear laser ride is interactive and the Pirates of the Caribbean ride more gentle than you'd think.

A pretty delightful way to spend a weekend. Well brilliant.
