Well, I'm Elly. My bio, which I shamelessly use everywhere, currently says: Elly is a webdesigner, and snowboarder, a bad dancer, awesome eater, lover of socks, snuggling and Quinn. She lives, breathes and rocks out, and is currently residing in Aotearoa.
In the interest of a proper introduction, I could probably tell you a bit more I spose. I hate writing introduction/bio/about me segments for a start. It's quite awkward.
Anyway. That last bit is changing. I'm moving to London (via Vancouver, Toronto, and Rome). It's going to be epic, and I'm ridiculously excited. If you have been somewhere I am going, let me know what I should do, what I should see. If you'd like to meet up, let me know (I'm already meeting a few gorgeous people on the way through, I'd love to meet some more!).
What else? I have The List. Which is a list of things I want to do, which has motivated me to do more than I usually would, which is awesome. Like, for example: in the last few weeks I've made an awful lot of cheese (which is awesome. I dearly love Haloumi, and it's so much better when you've made it yourself!). I planted a tree. A lime tree named Lauchlan. I went on a mad one day snow trip, because I'm enough of a snow bunny to think that doing that after a night out is clever.
My dad owns a bar, which I promptly negotiated clever and wonderful perks for myself at. I work there very occasionally. Mostly I drink there. On this amazing giant tab that I have. I now have a slight addiction to cocktails, and am very sorry that the bar can't follow me to London.
I own a small web design company with my best friend: Sinter Design + Development. And lately I've been so preoccupied with London that I'm finding it hard to motivate myself to keep up with the design work I have. I'll get to it, I will, because I'm someone that keeps their word, but goodness. It's been an awful long time since I've had to force myself to do Sinter work (usually Sinter work is the distraction that I'm itching to do).
I look like this:
So yes, I'm Elly. And you are? Will you introduce yourself, too?
