Remember when I mentioned Quinn needed a haircut? Well, he got one. His head is officially now in proportion with the rest of his body.

He has gone from sad little emo, to clean cut do-gooder. As an example, he now responds to ‘leave’, which is something he usually only does with bribes!!

This small something is a classic example of what it was like this past summer. In short, hanging out in the sun with nothing to do but be stupid.

Not to mention it was amusing to watch the boys pose for a video, particularly after Rob (in the yellow) had pointed his video camera at us at every opportunity. :)

I am a HUGE pixar fan, and have watched most their movies several times over, including the commentary. I guess it helps that I have animation friends who encourage this behaviour, but really, with the way Pixar develops and refines their characters and stories it’s no wonder they have such a large following.

Their latest Project, Up, looks fantastic. I know, I use that adjective alot, but this film REALLY DOES look fantastic! Check it:

Even from the small promo, I love the characterisation of Carl Fredricksen. He’s incredibly grumpy, and appears to be quite bitter, and yet I’m sure (as this is a Pixar movie after all) he has a heart of gold. He lets Boy Scout Russell in!

Perhaps it’s just that we’re so small a country, but it appears that Kiwi’s often get behind something (be it brands, sounds, or movies) simply because its Kiwi made – we’re happy to cheer for one of our own pushing the bar.

Which is why I was stoked to see Tiki Tane rocking an Illicit hoodie on one of the Antiform vids, I happen to adore Illicit/Misery and own several awesome hoodies myself. When I got to the comments, though, I cracked up. There is always one who wants to disagree:
