Wandering around Old Town, it would be impossible for you not to see many things. You're going to trip over a plaza of some kind, because there are millions of them and they are everywhere. Just like it would be impossible for you not to see all of the amazing street art, because it is also everywhere. And a lot of it is massive. I love this, I love a city that celebrates urbanised art and doesn't feel the need to cover it up with generic paint squares. That the people here can give the streets character, without fear of it being ripped down, or painted over, or passed on. Sure, sometimes the temporary provides an interesting quirk, but I'd rather art be covered up by more art than grey paint, right?
Urban art: providing character to city streets since forever. Love it.
