Everyday I take Quinn for a walk. Sometimes it’s a short work, just up to the park and back. Sometimes it’s a long meandering wander around the city, or out west, or wherever. Right now I’m loving the peace. Sometimes feeling better is as easy as taking the time to wander around with your dog.

"You must be", said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

i like having all day to myself, but it’s definitely starting to get boring and lonely. i need something to do!

We’ve been waking up early every morning (or rather, the baby has been waking us up early every morning) so we’ve been using that extra morning time to take our pup on long walks around the neighborhood. Somehow the city seems less dingy in the morning. It’s been giving us a nice chipper start on the day.
@JJ – That’s one thing I miss – morning walks with Quinn don’t happen now that I’m at work. Mornings are awesome – glad you’re enjoying them! – elly x
On weekdays, as soon as I get in from work, my little cat is waiting for me by the door, and she knows I’m going to scoop her up in my arms and pop her head out the door while I get the post from the box. I think it’s both of our favourite times of day – she gets to peek outdoors, and I get a big kitten hug :)

I’m enjoying drinking coffee in the morning and watching some tv while the babe plays with her toys in the living room. Simple, and it works.
