I wish we did something like that here. The closest we have is "Waste Weekend." We can stuff our toxic and electronic waste into a truck load and drop it off at city hall. It isn't very exciting, though, because there aren't any kid chairs or glitter wands. It's all, like, old keyboards and empty cans of paint thinner. SIGH. How cool! I really hate waste and would love it if my junk could be someone else's treasure.
