@Vi – Ha, me too. Although usually it’s not food from the vending machine, its ridiculously expensive food from the cafe across the way. Sigh! Forgetting lunch is always so expensive!

I’m notorious for forgetting EVERYTHING. No, really. EVERYTHING. My husband says that I have the memory of a goldfish…except the goldfish remembers more.

Which is why our notebook full of things-to-remember (phone numbers, addresses, events we’re supposed to attend, etc) has a big old note on the front of it, courtesy my husband: “This is so that the goldfish don’t always beat you, Sweetheart.”

What a smartass I married.

Definitely packing my lunch for the next day. I’m not a fan of cafeteria food, but sometimes I’ll forget to pack my lunch and find myself eating a bag of chips out of the vending machine.

@Desiree – I remember going through a drought where if it was yellow we’d refrain from flushing. :) Crazy what develops into random habits though! :)

@Mo – me too! I’m trying to spend less and save more, and it doesn’t work if I leave my lunch on the bench as I leave to work! :)

This will sound gross — but flushing the toilet when I pee.

For so long I lived in the country where, on a septic tank, it’s not good to flush EVERY single time — thus the ‘if it’s yellow, let it mellow’ saying.

I still often forget to flush — which annoys the boy — but he does it too sometimes!
