@Sarah - cheers for the comment. The sarcasm wasn't even that bad, it was "you missed another fantastic meeting". The yelling I got was a bit ott, and I think that's what made it difficult to shake off right away, that I honestly didn't think it was that bad. In the right situation, sarcasm can have its place. It's always tricky taking someone else's flack undeserved so they can feel better. But yeah, a week later things are fine :)

And what are they talking about? Wit and humour suit a woman of any age well :P

I'm sure your boss was probably having an awful day too. I'm pretty sarcastic - in fact, my boss was telling me the other day that when he took some auditors out for lunch, he joked that the only reason I did my job so well was that people just think I'm a vicious man-eating bitch (sigh) (although, AWESOME) - but even so, I've NEVER been yelled at for a one-liner. Told to knock it off unless I wanted to be fired? Yes. Told to save my inappropriate sense of humor for home? Certainly. Told that biting humor doesn't suit a woman of my age so well? Absolutely. But yelled at?! Never.

I hope by now you've been able to shake it off =)
