This past week I’ve made an effort to take care of myself. This mostly backfired when I realised that I instead of taking care, I was indulging. Buying myself whatever it was I wanted, eating what I wanted. Inviting myself along to other peoples social gatherings and dragging other people along to mine.
I guess it’s no surprise than that in this mode I got myself another surface piercing. I’d been thinking about it for a while, and on impulse I went and asked about the possibility of getting one. Turns out they had a spot free for me, so I booked in. The Second and Fourth quarters kindly waited around with me, and then tada! I came out with a pretty piece of jewellery on my arm.

I totally understand this.
If I’m ever struggling to gain control I usually cut my hair, or dye it, or get a piercing… used to have TONS, now, just one :) Though I want my septum back…

Whoa! That’s your arm? Wow. But yeah, I totally understand. I’m with Desiree. I make outer changes to match inner changes. It just feels good.

Ah!! You’re so brave I would be *terrified* that they’d be torn out of me at any moment by accident. I’m so clumsy- but cool!

@Kyla Roma – I’m not too worried about it. I have other surface piercings, so I knew what I was getting into. I kinda think it’s pretty. Like a bracelet, but not. :)
I’m pretty sure every single person who is ever stressed about anything indulges. But that looks awesome! I do not want to be creepy, but where are your others? My friend has a microdermal in her neck and loves it.
@Awmb – I’ve got one in my nape, one in my sternum, and a belly button piercing. And a whole bunch in my ears. :)
