I saw this on the internet at some point and saved it because I loved the sentiment. I’m sure it’s being used as web-award or something, but I love the idea that this is an actual sign up somewhere, complimenting the people that pass by it with kindness.
Sometimes all it takes to feel good about yourself is for someone to tell you you’re beautiful in a simple and honest way. And I love that this sign does that. Yay for the good in the world . . .

When I first looked at this, I thought: “Hey cool… someone’s all green friendly and is spreading their love to the trees”.
Then I read what you wrote, and became rather concerned that someone has hammered a sign into a tree, to make people feel good.

Oh I love that sign. It seems like there must be one huge meadow where they take all these pictures, where Kirsten Dunst is their queen and it’s always misty and beautiful.

@Heidi – Oh! I didn’t think of it that way! I guess we won’t know which is which, but isn’t hammering a sign into a tree bad whether they are doing it to spread the love (which I kind of admire, actually) for people or for the trees?
Poor tree indeed, I think! Still, I like the sentiment, the spreading of the love. There isn’t enough love, I think.
