A couple of weeks after we filled The Second Quarters room with balloons, they still had a bajillion balloons around. There were balloons in bedrooms, and bathrooms and pretty much all the living spaces.

And in this rather unique predicament (because really, when else have you had 400+ balloons just hanging out at your house) we came up with some rather random games. One of them was Balloon Herding.

It’s kind of like one of those stupid, meaningless internet games (like Plants vs Zombies). Horribly addictive and generally uses up a ridiculous amount of time. Anyway, the idea is that you take the bottom off the fan, and using the top end (connected to an extension cord) you have to round up as many balloons as you can around the lounge, up the stairs and into one of the bedrooms.

The more balloons, the higher kudos you get. 5 balloons was pretty easy. 12, not so much.

Anyway, it was a ridiculous amount of fun, and The Second Quarter and I indulged ourselves until one of the other quarters shows up.

I know I say this almost every Square post, but I love that we are able to do such ridiculous things together, that they have the patience, and a drive for the ridiculous too. Good times were had. Good times indeed! :)
